Journey to the Self through the senses
In the science of Yoga, we are often invited to control, or even deny, our senses by which the mind is considered distracted. Asana, pranayama and many more tecniques, can be aimed at limiting our sensory perception in order to access a state of concentration or and eventually meditation. In the Tantra tradition the mind is not disturbed by the senses, on the contrary, entering completely, unconditionally in the space of the senses, we enter the here/now. By embracing this approach, we invite you to join in this retreat during which we will celebrate life to the fullest.
Our intent is to awaken a sense of embodied spirituality by experiencing Life through the senses, and D’Alijó Retrear Center is the perfect location to do so. The common focal point of all the senses is a state of deep listening. When we become present to what we taste, to the beauty that fills our eyes, to listening to the surrounding nature, to the contact with our body and the inebriating scent of trees, flowers and spices, we immerse ourselves in the here and now. This all-encompassing experience can heal body and mind and bring us to a space of gratitude and love that nourishes every part of us.
Our days will be marked by Vinyasa Krama Yoga and Yin Yoga lessons, group cooking lessons, guided tours of the properties (including the “veggie & flower garden” created by the Chef and Yoga teacher who will co-lead with Anna) and sharing massages. But not only that, we will have with us the Bhakti Couple “I custodi del sacro” who will accompany our practices with live music, offer sacred rituals and circles of women and men.
This very rich edition is unmissable!
