This retreat is an invitation to return to yourself — not by doing more, but by finding balance.
Set in the quiet beauty of the Portuguese mountains, The Retreat That Brings You Back to Yourself offers a week to reset your nervous system, reconnect with your body, and rediscover your inner steadiness.
The focus of the week is balance:
rest and conscious effort, softness and strength, stillness and movement.
Through a thoughtful blend of mindful vinyasa, strengthening and stabilising yoga, yin, meditation, breathwork, and stillness, we create space not only to unwind, but also to rebuild resilience. As the body grows steadier and stronger, it becomes easier to let go — physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Each day begins in silence, allowing the nervous system to settle into the natural rhythm of the land. Morning practices are meditative and grounding. Late-morning sessions introduce more active movement — mindful vinyasa, strength-building, and mobility work — exploring effort without striving, and strength without force.
Evenings are devoted to softer, integrative practices such as yin yoga, restorative movement, meditation, Yoga Nidra and talks and possibly some journaling, supporting deep rest, insight and integration.
This retreat is open to all levels (though not suitable for complete beginners). Practices are adaptable and accessible, and you don’t need to be “fit enough” or “advanced” to join. You’ll be met where you are — and supported to leave with a stronger body, a calmer nervous system, and a steadier mind.
This is not about fixing yourself.
It’s about remembering — and coming home.
