Take the step to learn more about something you already love or just get an introduction to teaching it! MyYoga 26&2 (bikram method) teacher training is a 200 hour Yoga Alliance certified training held at the beautiful retreat center of D’Alijo in northern Portugal. In this course you will deepen your knowledge of the bikram series by studying and learning teaching cues, studying functional anatomy of all the postures and get a nice background on the lineage of this series; including yoga philosophy. This training is sure to be playful and informative.
Meet the team:
Lydia Wright: born and raised in the Rocky Mountains, discovered her passion for the Bikram series as a child and has since dedicated her life to teaching and promoting this healing practice, owning schools for nearly 16 years, and staying connected to the global Bikram community through retreats and competitions.

Heather Degrotte, who resides near Copenhagen with her family, is a seasoned Bikram yoga teacher with over 20 years of experience, known for her philosophy “You are your own best teacher” and her commitment to maximizing the practice’s physical and mental benefits.

Marcel van de Vis Heil: An international teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience, specializes in Functional yoga, blending various disciplines to promote mental and physical health, and will lead yoga anatomy discussions integrated with asana talks.

Jack Westerholt, a certified teacher in the Bikram/Bishnu Gosh and Sri Dharma Mittra lineages, describes his first yoga class in 2001 as “coming home” and draws inspiration from the teachings of Swami Sivananda, B.K.S. Iyengar, Paramahansa Yogananda, Patanjali, and Lao Tzu.

Scott Lamps and Ida Jo, head teachers of Ghosh Yoga in the West and holders of the title Yoga Acharya from the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center, are renowned yoga scholars and practitioners with Master’s degrees in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation from SOAS University of London. They are authors of several influential yoga manuals, including the Ghosh Yoga Practice Manuals and 26+2 Modifications, and are involved in teaching yoga philosophy and history at various events and programs.
