The Mind is a unique silent 10-day retreat for those who are looking to find peace, clarity and spaciousness within the nature of their mind. Our mind is usually distracted by endless thoughts jumping around like a monkey. We are spending too much time thinking, worrying and pondering but rarely find the peace in our mind that is our birthright. During The Mind you will learn the foundation of mindfulness practice and go deeper into meditation techniques that will firmly establish you in your peace, awareness and presence. You will come out as a different person, with a clearer understanding of yourself, your practice and your dharma – this retreat will literally blow your mind away.

Welcome to The Mind, a silent yoga retreat designed to help you find peace, clarity, and spaciousness within the nature of your mind. In today’s world, our minds are constantly distracted by endless thoughts, worries, and ponderings, leaving us feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from ourselves. But that doesn’t have to be the case.

During The Mind, you will learn the foundation of mindfulness practice and dive deeper into meditation techniques that will firmly establish you in your peace, awareness, and presence. You will learn how to quiet the monkey mind and find a sense of calm within the chaos. With each practice, you will begin to see the world with greater clarity and a deeper understanding of yourself.

As you move through this retreat, you will find that your mind becomes more focused and still. You will learn to let go of the worries and distractions that are holding you back, allowing you to connect with your inner self and find a sense of inner peace. With each practice, you will feel more grounded, centered, and present.

The Mind is a journey of self-discovery and transformation. By the end of this retreat, you will come out as a different person, with a clearer understanding of yourself, your practice, and your dharma. You will find yourself more in tune with the world around you, and with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose. This retreat will literally blow your mind away.

What you offer:

Tidy restaurant and toilets before and after mealtimes.

At least one month in the period May – September.

Language

English fluently, Portuguese, French or Spanish on the side is very helpful.

What you get:

Days off per week

Explore gorgeous landscapes, walking trails, river, natural pool and impressing rock formations. You can use our swimming pool and our gym.

Safari tent

You will have a bed in our Glamping Safari tent and share that tent with the other volunteer. Housekeeping, bedlinen, and towels will be provided by D’Alijo.

Meals

You are entitled to a free breakfast, lunch and dinner, every day of your stay.

Free laundry

You can use our laundry room freely.

Transfers to & from D’Alijo

Free transfer from the airport in Porto or train station.
