Join us for a hot yoga retreat where we watch the 2026 solar eclipse together at 99% partial eclipse from the yoga retreat center on August 12, 2026. The solar eclipse is a natural time for stillness and reflection. It gives us a unique opportunity to feel our place in the cosmic rhythm of the universe. We have booked exclusive use of this retreat center for this week.

D’Alijo Retreat Center sprawls across five hectares of land consisting of terraces, olive trees, mountains, rock formations, a pool, water features, and waterfalls. Enjoy the beautiful walking trails or feel free to venture off to the bordering national park to take in its enchanting waterfalls and towering trees.

During your retreat, you may wish to explore some of the nearby UNESCO heritage villages and cities such as Porto, Guimarães & Braga and the beautiful wine-making region of Douro Valley.

What you offer:

At least one month in the period May – September.

Language

English fluently, Portuguese, French or Spanish on the side is very helpful.

What you get:

Days off per week

Explore gorgeous landscapes, walking trails, river, natural pool and impressing rock formations. You can use our swimming pool and our gym.

Safari tent

You will have a bed in our Glamping Safari tent and share that tent with the other volunteer. Housekeeping, bedlinen, and towels will be provided by D’Alijo.

Meals

You are entitled to a free breakfast, lunch and dinner, every day of your stay.

Free laundry

You can use our laundry room freely.

Transfers to & from D’Alijo

Free transfer from the airport in Porto or train station.
