The retreat is geared to Iyengar Yoga levels II and up, but all students are welcome. Eileen will work with your individual needs and show you how to modify the poses to maximize your practice regardless of physical abilities or the level of your experience.
A Typical Day
Each day begins with meditation followed by an asana class. There will be two vegetarian meals prepared, as well as scheduled hikes, swimming, optional excursions, massage treatments, and chill-out time. There is an afternoon restorative yoga and pranayama class followed by Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra study. After dinner there is meditation … followed by silence.
All activities are optional, and there will be free time to explore the local hiking trails, as well as time to recharge and reconnect with your inner self, with nature and with your fellow yogis.
